I believe Gordon, on used VA3ICM in Vancouver, and Eric used K5TIT in 
Dallas, Texas.  I tried but we were 45 km from the repeater at the 
scouts camp site and on the back side of a 350 M hill - NO JOY.  From 
the top of the hill a walkie talkie works just fine, but 50 Watts and a 
yagi would not burn thru the rock.

I did hear a number of local folks talking with the Scouts via the 
Gateway, though and next year will be better.
