You mention " I'd like to see a system that will announce the repeaters
remote connection
and it will probably come in the future.'
Do you refer to something that will make an announcement once a connection
has been established or make an announcement every hour (let's say) that the
repeater is connected to REF003C? or both for that matter?

GDay All,
At the present time the VK repeaters are connected to the following
Reflectors;
Reflector 003 C
VK3RWN C
Reflector 003 B
VK3RWN B
VK3RWW B
VK4RGC B
VK5REX B
These are the defaults for the current Australian repeaters.
Occasionally the repeaters are connected to other reflectors for nets.
I'd like to see a system that will announce the repeaters remote connection
and it will probably come in the future.
If some one wants to develop a system for repeater announcements I'd be
happy to assist them with information and ideas.
Cheers
Richard
