[Dstar] IC-91AD not transmitting while on the charger???!!!

I think the problem might be that the plugpack supplied by Icom cannot
supply enough current to keep the radio happy while transmitting. It's a
good charger, but not good enough to power the radio during transmit.
I have powered my IC-91AD via the external power socket with my shack
13.8V power supply and have had no issues during transmit. I don't
charge my 91AD via the power socket anymore, I've since bought the drop
in rapid charger and second battery... but I regularly run it in the
shack with external power.
If you try to power the radio with something that can supply more
current, I think you will find that it will work fine.
