If the IC-91AD is left on 146.9125 in DV mode you will
hear
a beep from time to time, this beep is the ident of the repeater in most
cases, you will need to do nothing else than have in it the correct mode
on
the correct freq.
Correct as to the squelch, it is silent, you will also not need to worry
about CSQL and DSQL
If someone is transmitting you will see and hear them on your radio, the
callsign will scroll across the screen, the 146.9125 freq can have very
little traffic from time to time, but you should be able to hear someone
if
setup correctly as mentioned above.
