what was interesting is that my admin saw someone identified as being on a dongle and I was not hearing
that user or Dave at all through the network. If I had one want it would be that these dstar radios were
more blind friendly and I don't recognize the fellow you mention.

Dear Ray, Thank you for your post

Dave VK3EW is on the RF side, with an IC-91AD, he is a fair way from the
repeater too

More importantly, your comments about the ID800H, knowing a few blind
operators I find this easy to believe. You guys are unbelievable and put
many a sighted person to shame, Do you know Leon of Huntingdale in
Melbourne
He has a foundation call and builds his own antennas, he is an absolute
legend.

I have printed your post and attached on my office partition

Hope to work you in the morning, 2820 will be back in the car over the
weekend It was up in Brisbane at a demo last week

Gday all. First KD8DRG is the call of the machine I was accessing. For
what it's worth I was able to
hear all but VK3EW Was David on a DV device or was he using RF? Wonder
what was causing your machine to
play up toward the bottom of the hour? I'll have a yack with my admin
to see if it was anything my end
which might have been causing it. Finally I'm curious why the ID800
gets a bad rap over there? As a
blind user, it was the easiest radio to use and program. Thanks for
welcoming me to your net.
