VK3JSR , VK3XEM and Moderator,
Who is flaming whom moderator? You asked and stated a
curtailment but VK3JSR and VK3XEM have sent the same message word for word.
One via direct channel and the other via D-Star bounce with both being over
two days since the moderator has sent put his message. Seems that Richard's
no reply to VK8FAAB was necessary to find out what was happening with the so
called result with Melbourne's D-Star B repeater linked up to and taking
valuable bandwidth for this test emergency was totally inexcusable and took
up valuable bandwidth that would be needed in an real emergency from an
organization that is totally outside of the affected area. Do you think FEMA
and or other emergency services (police, the military etc.) would be taking
reports from an unknown VK3 source and not someone locally from the affected
area? The question was asked what actually did Melbourne B repeater actually
do outside of taking up bandwidth that could have been used more efficient
use there in the U.S. where it was needed more and would have been put to
better use as needed. But NO reply was ever published to the public here in
Australia or anywhere else for that matter and certainly no reply to
VK8FAAB. Flaming? Richard was nothing but indignant to all let alone VK8FAAB
and his query. His report of being valuable has been criticized by those
involved in the operation there in the U.S.
The moderator posted his statement about to cease the flaming around 3:50
P.M. that day and then Richard has the audacity to reply back at around 8:14
P.M. that evening via the mailing list totally ignoring the moderator
statement. Apparently Richard thinks it's O.K. for him to use the mailing
list to tell all but then says to mail him back personally. Yes, the
moderator should do something by warning and or striking off Richard from
the mailing list along with Bib and Bub (JSR & XEM) after two days to
continue to ignore and or complying with the moderator statement. Richard is
supposed to be the D-Star co-coordinator but he is not co-coordinating
anything to the people of D-Star here in Australia. But to the 31.9% of
non-Australian D-Star stations he mentioned were being told how to configure
their stations. Not one of the stations was in Australia that he mentioned.
Should we not look after Australia stations first before telling other
countries of what to do and how Richard perceive stations should be
configured? There are more than one way that was already in place to stop
dongle users VK3JSR and VK3XEM and Richard choose to ignore them. The
reflector should have been taken out of the equation. We had this before
where Richard was stating that dongles were illegal but actually were not
expect to Richard himself. The LCD's have stated this.
The matter of VK8FAAB operating properly was answered by
VK3JED however these two (JSR & XEM) continue with their innuendos that
VK8FAAB and I, VK8HF were operating improperly. Who should be scrutinized as
to operating improperly?

It seems the lack of respect for Richard and others on this list is going
way too far
from these two in VK8.
As you have posted the rules of this list, and still these two are flaming
off at people.
I who replied to one of Patrick's OFFENSIVE emails to Richard, and sent my
REPLY TO
PAT DIRECT AND NOT VIA THIS MAILING LIST, only to have him REPOST IT ON THE
MAILING LIST.
Certainly constitutes a Severe warning if not IMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THIS
LIST.
Mailing list are NOT for trying to make youself something bigging than you
are, CB Radio is.
Regards Steve VK3JSR
I would have to agree and going by VK8FAAB's attitude I would even
recommend the ACMA conduct a review of his activities to ensure he is NOT
operating illegally!
