[Dstar] D-Star News Update

Hi,

 

Earlier today the VK2RWN Gateway suffered a power failure when a tradesman
cut the power cable to the server rack at the site. The UPS provided powered
the Gateway for a time but the power cable was not able to be repaired
before the batteries run out of capacity. It is hoped that power will be
restored to the server rack tomorrow.

 

On Friday the VK5RWN Gateway experienced problems as was taken out of
service. The AREG D-Star team hope to have the Gateway repaired and back in
service in the next few weeks.
