Hi everyone, just letting you know that REF023, located in Adelaide
is now online and available for D-STAR users worldwide. The
reflector is intended to provide a second system with low latency for
Australian D-STAR/DPlus users.

At this stage, channel allocations for the reflector are:

REF023 A - General use. All Gateways, Dongles and Hotspots welcome.
REF023 B - General use. All Gateways, Dongles and Hotspots welcome.
REF023 C - Experimental use. All Gateways, Dongles and Hotspots
welcome. However, this channel may contain traffic from non D-STAR
sources. I will be taking measures to minimise the risk of
accidental licence breaches, by controlling what non D-STAR sources
will be permitted to test. Part of the purpose of these tests will
be for emergency communications interoperability.

Like the Echolink systems that I run, I will not be blocking any
system, unless there is a technical reason to do so. Given the
nature of D-STAR, I believe this is highly unlikely.

Nets are welcome, though if you wish to hold a net on any of the
REF023 modules, please drop me an email, so I know it's going to be
in use for your net (and don't inadvertently double book it :) ). If
anyone has any interesting ideas for nets, I'm all ears and happy to host.

Enjoy the new reflector.
