[Dstar] Intro to D-Star night at the Geelong Amateur Radio Club (VK3ATL) on the 21st August 2009

G'day all,

Thanks to those that attended (in the cold harsh conditions) or made contacts with us at the Intro to D-Star night at the GARC last night.

Apologies to those that may have tried to make contact earlier. I dragged the chain a little bit so we didn't get on air earlier as planned.

I think the night went over ok and hopefully we've attracted a few more people to the world of D-Star. 

I soon hope to loan a radio to the club for D-Star operations, so if you see VK3ATL pop up please make them welcome.
