[Dstar] Vote 1. Can that 4 second Message !

For those who can't escape the Dstar Nanny the message is a pain, it causes much confusion when it comes up between the 4 second overs as the other party can't hear it thinking you they have not been heard. One thing leads to another then a double.... etc etc etc

If you forget to turn the audio down when you go to bed you have to get up, go to the shack and turn it down. This usually results in forgetting to turn it back up the following day.

Luckily for Sydney we have VK2RAG that does not have the darn thing so my problem is solved but my thoughts go out to other gateway users who have to tolerate it.
