Hi Michael,
VK3RWW uses a TX/RX notch duplexer with band pass cavity on the receiver.
The repeaters receiver is slightly down on the transmitter.
My understanding is that there was communications in both directions from a
mobile.
Mt Wombat is at about 790Mtrs high and because of its location has great
coverage to the flat plains of northern Victoria and Southern NSW.
Cheers
Richard
