You needs 64 bit drivers for a 64 bit system.  32 bit apps run fine 
under Vista 64 (most of my Windows apps are still 32 bit), but 
anything that talks DIRECTLY to hardware has to be 64 bit.

I guess it depends on what the ID-1 stuff does.  Unfortunately, I 
don't have one to find that out. :(
