Nigel,
Yep I agree that the D-Plus dashboard is a wonderful thing and we
should give credit where credit is due. Think we all should thank Robin
(AA4RC) for developing this program into D-Plus. I think Dave and the rest
agree. We really don't want to plagiarized anyone's efforts.
But on a second note if anyone can explain if this D-Plus Dashboard
which is already running of all systems that have D-Plus installed (as all
WIA and other Australian D-Star repeaters do) but for some reason not ported
out to its own web page already incorporated by Robin (AA4RC). The WIA
Administrators then copy this program compiled by AA4RC and then is copied
from its present position in D-Plus by the WIA Administrators and put into
Australian D-Star web site and delayed by several minutes. As mentioned in
another post that VK8RAD and VK5REX do not seen to have the stability
problems that the WIA D-Star repeaters do as well as others throughout the
world.
For examples:
https://216.231.164.102/status.html for KI4SAZ
https://208.80.14.10/status.html for K5TIT
https://200.69.27.56/status.html for LU3AOC
https://86.3.10.211/status.html for GB7HD

Just put in station IP address using the same format.

A web page has been established that shows recent activity across most
of the Australian D-STAR repeaters that have a Gateway associated with
them.

The Dashboard is designed to allow users to see what is happening around
the country, without impacting on the performance of the internet links
at each of the D-STAR repeater sites. Information is gathered
automatically, from each of the repeater sites, every 2 minutes to
create the Dashboard page. If there is a problem at individual repeater
site's then you will see an error associated with that part of the
Dashboard page, that you will need to scroll past. It isn't the
prettiest of pages, but hopefully will meet a need.

The Dashboard is currently accessible on the Home Page at:
www.dstar.org.au and will appear in the web page's menu system shortly.

We are happy to add any additional Australian D-STAR repeaters to the
Dashboard page and this can be done by contacting Richard Hoskin VK3JFK.

Regards,

David Tilson - VK3UR
