[Dstar] Australian D-Star update

Gday,

 

Today Rob VK2MT (one of the local Wollongong DStar admin team) did some
investigating at the VK2RDS repeater site to fine out why the repeater
system had gone off line. Rob found that a loose RJ45 connector on the
Ethernet cable to the Avalan link & router was to blame. Once the connection
was secured the repeater system burst back into life and linked back onto
reflector 3C.

 

To Robs surprise and everyone's delight the RF link control issue was also
resolved and VK2RDS is now link controllable via RF.

 

Robs going to do a little more work on the RJ45 connectors at a latter date
to ensure they don't cause problems again.
