Forget about connecting dstar to echolink or irlp. Others have tried
before and it is not welcome. It will be enforced upon by the trust
server and dplus admins if that is attempted.

You could join a secondary European (German - Italian) d-star system
that allows it, with no connectivity to the main K5TIT system we enjoy
in VK.
