[Dstar] D-Star Repeater - trials and tribulations - Friday 19th March 8pm - Geelong

G'day All, 

Despite being a last minute arrangement or request, I'm presenting to the Geelong Amateur Radio Club, the trials and tribulations of establishing a D-Star repeater, this Friday night, the 19th March 2010 at 8pm. It's a last minute ditch effort due to the cancellation of another speaker. But if anyone is about tommorrow night, I'd love it if there was a lot of traffic from about 8.30pm on REF003C as I will have the laptop & DV-Dongle setup after my pictorial presentation to the club. All amateurs and interested persons are welcome. 

I have also been requested to present a D-Star and repeater briefing to the Geelong Radio & Electronics Society either in late April or early May of this year, on a Thursday night. I will announce via this list of the firm date as appropriate. I would appreciate an increased amount of D-Star traffic during these times.
