<st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">New Orleans</st1:place></st1:City>
levees held, just barely. Even so, Gustav did a lot of damage in other areas
along the Coast and <st1:place w:st="on">Islands</st1:place>. There are still
many evacuees who are in shelters at this time, and power and communications
have not been completely restored in the affected areas today. By Wednesday
night / Thursday, it is likely that many of the evacuees will be returning

welcome. Tropical Storm Ike has formed over the open <st1:place w:st="on">Atlantic</st1:place>

affected area as well as family and friends paints a high situational awareness
and allows for the information to be used as vital "disaster
