James, VirtualBOX is quite simple, and i believe it will be effective for you.<br><br>Simply download it from the Sun website as it is free.<br>create a new 'virtual server/PC' deciding how much RAM/HDD/CPU you want to allocate for the task you require (baring in mind WinXP's OS system requirements).<br>
<br>Once you have decided and set this, it will all appear like a normal 'PC/Server' with a bios etc. You will have to 'connect' a virtual CD if you want to boot from an XP disc etc. Otherwise you can mount directly from an ISO of the install CD.<br>

For those also interested "Virtual Audio Cable" for flex-radio and the USB "SCS" ptc pactor modem are in the same driver problem category.<br>

These days, it seems a bit poor that there wouldn't be a 64 bit driver. 64 bit is now mainstream with Vista, combined with common PC configurations having 4GB RAM. I have 1 machine here running Vista 64 bit myself.<br>
